Monday Night Football

Monday Night Football “ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL, A MONDAY NIGHT PARTAYYYY!!!!??” These are the word almost every American loves to hear. This is the anthem of the Monday night football. After the worse day of the week there is nothing like heading home, cracking a cold one, and enjoying some football. This could easily be one of the most popular days of the week in the fall. On October 8th it was recorded that a total of 667 from 1970 to 2005. This was an idea that had Americans amazed, entertained, and craving some action on Monday night. There have been many hosts on MNF (Monday Night Football.) But one of the best of all time is probably one of the greatest coaches to coach this amazing sport. That amazing man is John Madden. The quote above is just a segment of the Anthem of Monday Night Football. This anthem has been song by many. But you have to be popular to sing it. You can not just be a Joe shmo of the street. One of the longest running hosts would be Hank Williams JR. I personally love Monday Night Football. There is literally nothing better after a long day of school and a long football practice, then going home and relaxing to what is normally a decent game of football. The teams that play on Monday Night Football should and do know that there is no one else on TV like on Sunday. So, on that note, all of the attention of the night is on these two teams. Even if you are not a fan of either team that is competing, you still watch. You probably watch because there is nothing else on TV to watch. This pressure tends to make teams that may not necessarily be the best, play like an elite squad. They know that there are over 3 million people with their eyes glued to the TV fan or not. It is almost as if these players jobs are to entertain us and winning becomes second place to them. That is how you choose an elite team. Which team is solely looking for the win? Sports are not made to purposely entertain people. It just so happens to work out that way. So this leaves you with one question to answer. Are you ready for some football? because I guarantee its going to be a party no matter what. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monday_Night_Football
