Paul Walker

Paul Walker R.I.P. 1973-2013

Recently there was a tragedy that has taken not only effect on Hollywood, but the fans and admirers around the country of Paul Walker. Walker died in a car accident on November 30th, 2013. They have announced that he survived the crash but while still stuck in the car moments later, died of traumatic injuries.
It truly does surprise me that at any moment, on any day, anybody we love could die. It is a hard thing to think about and comprehend. Some of the strangest things happen to people weather they deserve it or not. Some would go as far to argue over Paul Walkers death as it should have happened sooner. This being said because of the movies he portrayed himself in. The high flying, fast paced movies everyone has heard of, The Fast and the Furious. This was Paul Walkers movie series, and let’s be honest none of us would have watched them, had it not been him the lead actor.
Paul Walker was an adrenaline junkie. No he did not get his rush from drugs, but more of living life on the edge. Is it a coincidence that being the star of a fast paced street racing movie, he died in the same exact thing and object that made him who we know? It is the fact that things that seem to be great and amazing to us, can turn on us in a second. From pets, to houses, to cars. Anything of great significance in our life has the possibility of not turning out the way we planned it to turn out. I am sure that when Paul Walker left on November, 30th he had plans to return home that night. Not even thinking of the possibility of him dying, and rightfully so. The man was healthy and just 40 years old, what is there for him to worry about?
Just forty years old, still young in the eyes of humanity, and his life was taken from him in the blink of an eye. Paul Walker leaves behind his girlfriend of seven years, and a fifteen year old daughter. That day he left he probably did not think to say goodbye or even tell anyone he was leaving. The statistic of dying in a car accident is not that low but still unfortunately Paul Walker was the 1-84 chance of dying in a car accident.
So is this a coincidence that he died by car. Is it the possibility that the statement of “Eye for an Eye, tooth for a tooth” possibly showed the light here? Live by the gun die by the gun is an even better saying for this situation. Is it possible to live by the car die by the car?
This is not meant to be in praise of his death. I am grieve stricken just like everyone else. These are just a few of my thoughts. All my regards go out to the Walker Family. May grieving end soon and may you realize not the sad times, but the good. God Bless
